On This Day
Heavy rock history was made in 1968 at the Teen-Clubs, Box 45, in Gladsaxe, Denmark, where Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham played their very first live concert together. Fulfilling outstanding tour obligations under the temporary billing of The Yardbirds, the quartet’s high-volume blues set marked the live birth of the band that would soon be rechristened Led Zeppelin.
